The article has one simple goal: to make it clear that students can improve the educational decision-making process, and thereby should be included in that process. Students are constituents of the education system, and have invaluable voices in providing input and feedback on the 'product' of that system - themselves. A proven, excellent way to start the process of including students' voices in decisions, specifically in primary and secondary schools, is through instituting student trustees on school boards in every province and every territory in Canada.
